7th ANNIVERSARY BURMA'S SAFFRON REVOLUTION

We, the Burmese democratic activists led by Buddhist Monks, belong to the various organizations of students, youth, women, ethnic and political parties, assemble at Shwe Waryaung monastery to mark 7th anniversary of ‘2007 Saffron Movement’ in Burma, in which several hundreds of peace loving people including Buddhist monks were killed when army brutally cracked down on them. Then, thousands of Buddhists monks led peaceful procession in all major cities across the country for national reconciliation and peace in Burma as well as in the world. Monks did not shout any slogan against Junta at these peaceful demonstrations, but only chanting Buddha's Mantra for love and peace.

Presently, the military junta has been trying to hoodwink world's opinion by installing puppet civilian government led by the ex-army general Thein Sein through sham election in 2010. It is obvious that the situation in Burma (Myanmar) had no change at all and common people are still suffering and reeling under the brutal rule of junta. The people of Burma had been continued to be denied their fundamental rights, political rights and activist are brutally cracked down to be killed, arrested, tortured and forced to leave the country or forced to be displaced. Hundreds of political prisoners are still remaining in jails and at the same time hundreds of thousands of people fled and taking refuge in neighboring countries as the result of junta's wars being waged in ethnic minority dominated areas. Human rights violation at the ethnic areas is unabated until now. Land confiscation, especially farmlands, by the army becomes instrumental; when the hundreds of farmers demonstrate claiming their farmlands, many of them have been arrested and imprisoned. Then, those students who stand with the farmers, the workers, the oppressed, as well as for the rightful courses have been put behind bars. Among them, Ma Phyu Hnin Htwe, second year student, a human rights defender, a member of the All Burma Federation of Student Union (ABFSU), was arrested in this month. Human dignity has been burning to the ground. This highlights that today’s puppet Hlattaw (Parliament) is destructive to the common goods, in fact.

Thus, we would like to express our view on current situation in Burma. Although we have confidence on Madam Aung San Suu Kyi's commitment on people's cause, we are very doubtful on junta's promise of reform as they never keep their promises. We also believe that any political offshoot that growth under shadow of pro-military dictatorship constitution 2008 will be just another military government in civilian cloth in essence. The state power still remains in handful of military dictators named National Defence and Security Council (NDSC), regardless of the existence of sham election, puppet parliament and bogus civilian government. We firmly believe that Burma's political crisis cannot be solved, no matter whatever political agreement made with whatever political party, as long as 2008 pro-military dictatorship constitution remains in force. The public life will largely remain in military bondage as per pro-military constitution, the military leaders are guaranteed with one-fourth of total parliamentary seats in all assemblies and all important ministerial positions, and the government can confer power to NDSC legally under this 2008 constitution in case of so-called ‘state of emergency’, in fact, allows military to stage serial coup d'etat at their will. Until now, all the ministries have been occupied by military officers or ex-military officers.

Therefore, we hereby demand Burmese Military Junta to implement following points immediately if it has sincerity to settle general crisis that Burma has been facing for half a century.

1. To release all Farmers, Student Leaders, Political Prisoners and to initiate for a genuine peace process.
2. To repeal or abolish 2008 undemocratic constitution.
3. To make formal apology to Monks for cracking down of peaceful procession and chanting Buddha's Mantra for love and peace.
4. To implement for a Federal Union wherein the self-determination of ethnic nationalities' own affairs are constitutionally granted.
5. To give the farmlands back to the farmers, who are the rightful owners
6. To establish Justice, Liberty, Equality, Fraternity, which are the foundation of good society

၂၀၀၇ စက္တင္ဘာ ေရႊဝါေရာင္သံဃာ့အေရးအခင္း ၆ ႏွစ္ျပည့္အျဖစ္ ၂၆ ရက္ စက္တင္ဘာ ၂၆ ရက္ေန႔က အိႏၵိယႏိုင္ငံ နယူးေဒလီၿမိဳ႕ Jantar Mantar အရပ္၌ အိႏၵိယႏိုင္ငံေရာက္ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံသားရဟန္းရွင္လူဦးေရ (၅၀)ေက်ာ္ခန္႔စုစည္း၍ ေအာက္ပါအခ်က္မ်ားကို ေတာင္းဆိုခဲ့ၾကေၾကာင္း သိရွိရပါသည္။

(၁)ႏိုင္ငံအေရးအက်ဥ္းသားမ်ားအား ခြ်င္းခ်က္မရွိအျမန္ဆံုးလႊတ္ေပးရန္

(၂)သံဃာ့လႈပ္ရွားမႈမ်ားတြင္ ပါဝင္ေဆာင္႐ြက္ခဲ့ၾကသျဖင့္ အက်ဥ္းက်ရာမွ ျပန္လည္လြတ္ေျမာက္ လာၾကသည့္                                    
  သံဃာေတာ္မ်ားႏွင့္  သီလရွင္မ်ားအား မူလေက်ာင္းတုိက္မ်ားတြင္ မေနႏိုင္ေအာင္ ဖိအားေပး   ေနမႈမ်ားကို
  ခ်က္ခ်င္းရပ္တန္႔ရန္              

(၃)ျမန္မာႏုိင္ငံတဝွမ္းလုံး၌ ျဖစ္ေပၚလ်က္ရွိသည့္ ျပည္တြင္းစစ္ႏွင့္ ပဋိပကၡမ်ား၊ အလုပ္သမား လယ္သမားမ်ား
     အေရးဆို   ေတာင္းဆိုမႈမ်ားကို ၿငိမ္းခ်မ္းစြာ အျမန္ဆုံး ေျဖရွင္းေပးရန္

(၄)သံဃာေတာ္မ်ားအား ဓါတ္တိုင္တြင္ ႀကိဳးတုတ္႐ိုက္ႏွက္ခဲ့ၾကသည့္အျပင္ အတင္းအဓမၼ ဖမ္းဆီး

 ေ႐ႊဝါေရာင္သံဃာ့လႈပ္ရွားမႈႀကီး ျဖစ္ေပၚလာရျခင္းမွာ နအဖ စစ္အစိုးရသည္ ျပည္သူလူထု၏ အေထြေထြအက်ပ္တည္းမ်ား ျဖစ္ေပၚေနခ်ိန္တြင္ ရုတ္တရက္ ဓာတ္ဆီေစ်းႏႈန္းမ်ားကို အဆမတန္ ျမွင့္တင္လိုက္သျဖင့္ ျပည္သူမ်ား က ၿငိမ္းခ်မ္းစြာ ဆႏၵျပေတာင္းဆိုၾကရာ နအဖ စစ္အစိုးရမွ အၾကမ္းဖက္ ႏွိမ္ႏွင္းဖမ္းဆီးခဲ့သည္။ရခိုင္ျပည္နယ္တြင္လည္း သံဃာေတာ္မ်ားက ၿငိမ္းခ်မ္းစြာ ဆႏၵျပေတာင္းဆိုမႈမ်ား ျပဳ လုပ္ၾကရာ စစ္အစိုးရမွ ထပ္မံႏွိမ္ႏွင္းမႈ ျပဳခဲ့သည္။

၅၊ ၉၊ ၂၀၀၇ ရက္ေန႔ ပခုကၠဴၿမိဳ႕တြင္ သံဃာေတာ္မ်ားက ၿငိမ္းခ်မ္းစြာ ဆႏၵျပေတာင္းဆိုမႈမ်ား ဆက္လက္ ျပဳလုပ္ရာတြင္ သံဃာေတာ္မ်ားျဖစ္ေသာ ဦးပညာစကၠ၊ ဦးပညာနႏၵ၊ ဦးစႏၵိမာတို႔ သုံးပါးအား ႀကိဳးျဖင့္ ဓာတ္တုိင္တြင္ တုတ္ေႏွာင္ၿပီး ဖမ္းဆီး႐ိုက္ႏွက္ခဲ့သည့္အတြက္ ျမန္မာႏုိင္ငံတဝွမ္းလုံးရွိ သံဃာေတာ္မ်ားက စစ္အစိုးရ၏ က်ဴးလြန္ ေစာ္ကားသည့္ လုပ္ရပ္ကို ၁၈၊ ၉၊ ၂၀၀၇ ရက္ေန႔တြင္ ေနာက္ဆုံးထားၿပီး ဝန္ခ် ေတာင္းပန္ရန္ ေၾကျငာခ်က္ ထုတ္ျပန္ၿပီး ေတာင္းဆိုခဲ့ေသာ္လည္း စစ္အစိုးရမွ လိုက္နာမႈမရွိခဲ့ေသာေၾကာင့္ ဝိနည္းေတာ္ႏွင့္အညီ ပတၱနိကၠဳဇၨန ကံေဆာင္ျခင္းႏွင့္ ျပည္သူမ်ား၏ လိုလားခ်က္မ်ားကို အျမန္ဆုံးျပည့္ဝေစရန္ စီတန္းလွည့္လည္ ေမတၱာပို႔ျခင္းမ်ား ျပဳလုပ္ၾကရာမွ ေ႐ႊဝါေရာင္ေတာ္လွန္ေရးႀကီး ေပၚေပါက္ခဲ့ပါသည္။

ေ႐ႊဝါေရာင္သံဃာ့လႈပ္ရွားမႈတြင္ပါဝင္ေဆာင္႐ြက္ခဲ့ၾကေသာသံဃာေတာ္အရွင္သူျမတ္မ်ား၊ေက်ာင္းသားေက်ာင္းသူမ်ား၊အဖြဲ႕အစည္းမ်ားႏွင့္ ျပည္သူလူထုအေပါင္းတို႔အားလည္းေကာင္း၊ ၿငိမ္းခ်မ္းစြာ ေမတၱာပို႔ စီတန္းလွည့္လည္ၾကစဥ္ စစ္အစိုးရ၏ ရက္စက္စြာ ပစ္ခတ္ႏွိမ္ႏွင္းျခင္း၊ ဖန္ဆီးခ်ဳပ္ေႏွာင္ျခင္း၊ အေႏွာက္ အယွက္ အမ်ဳိးမ်ဳိးေပးျခင္းမ်ား ခံခဲ့ၾကရေသာ ရဟန္းရွင္လူ ျပည္သူလူထုအေပါင္းတုိ႔အားလည္းေကာင္း တိ္ုင္းျပည္ ႏွင့္ လူမ်ိဳးအတြက္ေဆာင္ရြက္ခ်က္မ်ားကို အေလးအနက္ ဂါရဝျပဳ၍ ဂုဏ္ျပဳအပ္ပါသည္။

မႏၱေလး၊ ၈၄ လမ္းႏွင့္ ၃၁ လမ္းေထာင့္ရွိ ဓမၼသာလ ဗိမာန္၌ ၂၀၁၂၊ ေဖေဖာ္၀ါရီ ၄၊ ၅၊ ၆ သံုးရက္တာ NLD က ႀကီးမွဴးက်င္းပၿပီး ခင္းက်င္းျပသေနသည့္ ပြင့္သစ္လြင္ျပင္ ပန္းခ်ီျပပြဲ၏ တာ၀န္ခံတစ္ဦးျဖစ္သူ ဦးေက်ာ္မိုးသာ ၏ ေနအိမ္ကို (၂၀၁၂၊ ေဖေဖာ္၀ါရီ၊ ၅) ရက္ နံနက္အေစာပိုင္းက ႀကံ႕ခိုင္ေရးႏွင့္ ဖြံ႕ၿဖိဳးေရး(အတိုေကာက္ - ႀကံ႕ဖြတ္)ပါတီမွ ဦးျမေမာင္ (လက္ဖက္ေျခာက္လုပ္ငန္းပိုင္ရွင္၊ မႏၱေလး) ဆိုသူ ေရာက္လာၿပီး ၿခိမ္းေျခာက္ေျပာဆိုခဲ့ေၾကာင္း ၾကားသိရပါသည္။

ႀကံ႕ဖြတ္ျမေမာင္ လာေရာက္ခ်ိန္၌ ဦးေက်ာ္မိုးသာသည္ ၄င္း၏ ေနအိမ္၌ မရွိေပ။ ဦးေက်ာ္မိုးသာ၏ သားျဖစ္သူႏွင့္သာ ေတြ႕ဆံုသြားၿပီး အဆိုပါ ႀကံ႕ဖြတ္ျမေမာင္က ေျပာဆိုသည္မွာ...
၁။ " ဒီေကာင္မပံုေတြပဲ ေနရာတကာေတြ႕ေနရတယ္။ ေမာ္ဒယ္လ္က်ေနတာပဲ " ဟု ေနအိမ္တြင္းခ်ိတ္ဆြဲထားေသာ ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္ပံုပါ ျပကၡဒိန္ပိုစတာမ်ားကို ၾကည့္ၿပီး ေျပာဆိုခဲ့သည္ဆို၏။

ပန္းခ်ီဆရာမ်ားႏွင့္ ပန္းခ်ီကား၀ယ္ယူသူမ်ားကို ၄င္းတို႔ ႀကံ႕ဖြတ္ပါတီက တစ္ခုခု လုပ္ပစ္ရန္ ႀကံစည္ေနသေလာ...။ စဥ္းစားစရာ မ်ားစြာရွိလာရေပၿပီ။

ပရိသတ္ ဦးေရ ၃၀၀ ေက်ာ္ခန္႔ တက္ေရာက္ခဲ့ၿပီး ေန႔လည္ ၁ နာရီက စတင္သည့္ အဆိုပါ အခမ္းအနားသည္ ေန႔လည္ ၂ နာရီတြင္ ၿပီးဆံုးခဲ့ပါသည္။

အခမ္းအနားကို ေမတၱာသုတ္သံၿပိဳင္ရြတ္ဖတ္ျခင္း၊ ၂၀၀၇ စက္တင္ဘာေရႊ၀ါေရာင္ေတာ္လွန္ေရးအမွတ္တရ ေမတၱာပို႔စာသားမ်ား သံၿပိဳင္ရြတ္ဆိုျခင္းတို႔ျဖင့္ အဆံုးသတ္ခဲ့ပါသည္။
